Edmund Bradatsch established the foundation together with his wife Helga in 1999. With all his power and drive he had decisively promoted and headed the foundation over the many years as Chairman of the Advisory Board. It was a matter close to his heart to support committed students by awarding scholarships and to promote science and research at the technical universitites of the Upper Palatinate by granting project-related services.
His personal and entrepreneurial life during which, through his innovative strength, his tireless will and his visionary ideas he had received gratitude and recognition is summarize appreciatively elsewhere on the foundation’s homepage. To be highlighted is the award of honorary citizenship of the community of Weiherhammer in 2017 and honorary citizenship of the technical university of Amberg-Weiden in December 2020.
We mourn the loss of an extraordinary person and an entrepreneurial personality. We will cherish Edmund Bradatsch in dignified memory, honor his legacy for the foundation and continue in his spirit.
